Product descriptions have always been a vital tool of sales of electronic trade. But creating a unique and convincing copy is challenging.
So ten years ago I wrote what happened to one of my favorite articles, “how to” produce “the descriptions of the product for electronic trade”.
Hunger for some hearty chicken noodles or creamy clams? This spoon of SUS has a large bowl that was supposed to pull biskes and broths into the mouth. In fact, this tablespoon can hold the suus about three times as much soup as your standard table of spoons. You could take three times as many bite, or you can buy these amounts of Sopon and the big slurry.
Descriptions in scale
I fought products descriptions on the website of my job, regional retail retail retail. We had thousands of items. I tried three options: Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, a Romanian product description and a template -based tool.

Artificial intelligence facilitated the production of product descriptions of a mechanical or algorithmic manner, almost as a production.
Writers hired through Turk or Romania tend to approach each description as a novel with a conspiracy. Some descriptions we excel, but not all. The SPAPSU raised it.
Then I preferred the process of description of the product “production”.
- We have a single thing. The best feature or competent or advantage of the item.
- Attach to an advantage. Explain how this feature helps shoppers.
- Clarfy and specify. Make a precise and understandable bridge of functions and benefit.
- Try your words. Remove redundancies, add action verbs and interest in spark.
- Magic and grammatical control. The sloppy text disrupts trust and damages conversions.
- Add an introduction. Polish, humanized and insert a hook.
- Add calls to action. Encourages sale.
This process was a framework for writing and marketing teams.
Mad libs
Unfortunately, this process took a lot of time. So we doubled the tactics that I like to play “Mad Libs”-a science based on a word game-a wrote another article “Generate products descriptions using natural language software”.
Natural language templates were the forerunners of Deday’s generative platforms of artificial intelligence. The templates used the product-kaitegory variable for a copy of the mass product.
The LED TV template could look like this:
{{“Experience” || “Enjoy” || “Imagine”}} {{screen size> = 55? {{“Cinema-like” || “Theater Style”}} “Browse”: “The shows and movies you love:}}} from the comfort of your {“ living room ”||”
This example came from Best Buy:
Experience a cinema similar to watching from the comfort of your living room with this 55 -inch Insignia LED. It shows Blu-ray and high-resolution movies in full 1080p with stunning HD details. Use three HDMI inputs to create an experience of home cinema with this Insignia LED and other sound and video devices.
Generative
I used the processes of “production” and natural language in dozens of electronic trading sites.
However, generative AI makes this task easier with better results – morphing from templates and natural language to waive.
Start with a five -speed Google History framework: Task, Context, Links, Rating and ITer.
Task
Instruct AI about what to do. Here is the love to create a product description with a focus on individual function.
Create a quick template first:
Create a description of Comelling Pro (product name) focusing on (detailed key function). Describe how (a short key feature) benefits customers and provides specific examples and comparisons.
The variables could be:
- (Product name) – “Soup of a spoon.”
- (Detaleded Key Function) – “A large spoon that holds the soup.”
- (Short key element) – “Great bowl.”
The challenge deals with two elements of my original production process: “Focus on each thing” and “Join the advantage”.
Context
Generative AI is better with context. To create our challenge, we “join the advantage” again and add a step “clarification and specific” step to include our target customer.
Imagine that you are an experienced copywriter working on product descriptions. Create a description of Comelling Pro (product name) focusing on (detailed key function). Describe how, for example, the (short key feature) benefits customers (Benefit Bridge), provide specific examples and comparisons.
Also include direct address calls for action. Note (product name) is for (target audience). Use (voice voice) tone. The description of the description is engaging, grammatically correct and avoids repetition. Use diverse, recalculation and meaningful vocabulary.
Our variables could be:
- (Benefit Bridge) – “So customers get more soup with each bite.”
- (Target audience) – “Anyone who likes soups and does not want to take a small bite.”
- (Brand voice) – “occasional and entertaining”.
Integrated three steps from the original process: “Try your words”, “magic and grammar control” and “add an action call”.
Recovery
Furthermore, we can provide examples of successful descriptions of the category security product.
Product description can be in style similar to the following examples:
“(First example)”
“(Optional second example)”
Create three excellent product descriptions.
By completing the variable examples we have a complete challenge.
Imagine that you are an experienced copywriter working on product descriptions.
Create a description of the product for a tablespoon and focus on a large bowl or head that allows it to hold the soup. Describe how large the bowl benefits customers – for example, “Get more South Bites” – and at the same time provide examples and comparisons.
Include a direct call for action.
Note that the fields are designed for anyone who likes soups and does not want to take small cocks. When you write, use an occasional and fun tone. The description of the description is engaging, grammatically correct and avoids repetition. Use diverse, recalculation and meaningful vocabulary.
Product description can be in style similar to this example:
Hunger for some hearty chicken noodles or creamy clams? This spoon of SUS has a large bowl that was supposed to pull biskes and broths into the mouth. In fact, this tablespoon can hold the suus about three times as much soup as your standard table of spoons. You could take three times as many bite, or you can buy these amounts of Sopon and the big slurry.
Create three excellent product descriptions.
Roll
Even the best AI challenges will not always bring the desired results, so evaluate the output. An example of the challenge has generated this response from Chatgpt 4O.
Are you tired of chasing soup around your bowl with a small spoon? Meet a spoonful of the Sovon designed for real soup lovers. Its generous, deep bowl allows you to recruit rich, velvety biskes, abundant stew and broths heating the soul in the shape of an oral, without much sips. Compared to your average table spoon, this bad boy holds almost three times as much, so you can enjoy more taste with every bird. Whether you are holding your shoulders or enjoy homemade chicken noodles, this spoon will complete the work. Go big or hungry – catch it today.
Iter
The last step in Google’s rapid engineering is the iteration or repetition of the process with small changes until you get the right responsibility.
Product descriptions have never been more critical for the success of electronic trading. As we produce and test, they reflect their importance.
